Interim Comment
The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) Unit requests that the following be submitted before further comments can be issued:

The additional assessment by a dating specialist and Middle Stone Age specialist as recommended in 2010 for further mitigation measures;
A new assessment for site AA1;
A Conservation Management Plan as requested in the comment issued in 2011;
Additionally, the responsible party must provide clarity whether the recommendations provided in section 9.1 of the 1999 AIA report were implemented, and if not, motivation as to why this did not occur.
