Interim CommentThe SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology, and Meteorites (APM) notes the submission of the PIA desktop assessment report however not all heritage in terms of section 38(3) of the NHRA has been assessed. The SAHRA requires an assessment of heritage by a suitably qualified archaeologist. If the appointed archaeologist deems the site to be of low heritage significance then a letter of recommendation for exemption that is drafted by the archaeologist can be submitted to the case for further comments.
