The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) Unit requests that an updated assessment of the impact to heritage resources be conducted as part of the application to extend the validity of the EA. This must include a verification field survey of the impact areas to ensure that all heritage resources have been assessed. The HIA must include a palaeontological component and the HIA must comply with section 38(3) of the NHRA.
Further comments will be issued upon receipt of the above requested reports.
