Interim Comment
The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) Unit requests that an updated HIA be submitted that assesses all the development components as shown in Figure 2-2 of the DSR and section 2.3 of the DSR. Additionally, the conducted palaeontological assessment must be submitted for review and comment, where the correct development footprint must be assessed as part of the PIA.
It must also be noted that the applicant and EAP names in the HIA do not correspond to the submitted DSR. Please clarify this discrepancy. Further comments will be issued upon receipt of the above pending report and the draft EIA inclusive of appendices.
