SAHRA notes the pending heritage specialist studies. The assessment of the impact to heritage resources must comply with section 38(3) of the NHRA. The reports must also comply with the 2007 Minimum Standards: Archaeological and Palaeontological Components of Impact Assessments and the 2012 Minimum Standards: Palaeontological Components of Heritage Impact Assessments.
SAHRA awaits the submission of the reports and the draft EIA inclusive of appendices before further comments are issued.
