Proposal Description
PGS Heritage has been appointed by the Pretorius family, to affect the relocation of graves located on Portion 139 on the farm ‘Kafferskraal’ 342 JQ, near Mooinooi, North-West Province. This application deals with six (6) graves which will be affected by mining activities within the Pretorius family farm area. The graves are to be cremated and not reburied in a municipal cemetery, at the request of the next-of-kin. We will be assisted on this project by local service providers (Appendix A). The stakeholder engagement process, to identify the closest next of kin for the graves commenced on 26 May 2023.
