South Deep Joint Venture Wind Energy Facility

The development of a Wind Energy Facility (WEF) with a generating capacity of up to 100MW and associated grid connection infrastructure is proposed by South Deep Joint Venture on a site located south of Westonaria in the Gauteng Province. The development will be known as the Gold Fields South Deep Gold Mine Wind Energy Facility. The project is situated within the Rand West City Local Municipality, Gauteng.
