Proposal Description
The main objective is to conduct field mapping and collect geological information, including structural measurements, paleomagnetic data and rock samples on the Onverwacht Ancline. Our aim is to understand the onset and evolution of plate tectonics in the Paleoarchean era, of which the Onverwacht Ancline contains the best archive. This will be performed in the Mpumalanga Province.
