Statement of Significance

Palaeosurface on 0.3 metre-thick sheet sandstone of Beaufort Group with ripple marks, falling water terracettes, scour marks and tool marks etc. Fossils of the mammal-like reptile Diictodon are present. Has been designated a geological heritage site (geosite).
