Statement of Significance

A contemporary memorial structure is situated in close proximity to the MR407 study site. The memorial
structure is not formally protected by the NHRA 1999, but the structure (Site MR407.1) is classed as culturally
sensitive. No development should take place within 5-7m from the structure.
