Statement of Significance

Five crescent-shaped stone structures were identified on a low ridge, overlooking the valley. The layout and appearance of the five structures suggest that they had a military or defensive purpose. The site has scientific, historic and emotional significance. The site is deemed to be of Medium to High Significance i.e. Generally Protected 4A (GP.4A).
