Statement of Significance

The building at 23 Victoria Road is a good example of early 20th century residential development along Victoria Road and contributes to the streetscape. The building was designed by a well-known architectural firm, Lyon & Stekhoven, and has a high level of aesthetic and associational value. The structure’s original layout and external finishes are mainly intact, although the garden landscaping has been altered.
