According to the guide followed by the recorders, the site has high significance. Due to ascertain danger to the site, the following conservation recommendations are made: • SANParks should erect a fence around the cemetery.
• In accordance with SAN Parks policy, family members should undertake any maintenance at
the cemetery. • Although it would appear that elephants have caused damage to the graves, it would be
impractical as well as too costly to try and keep, these animals out. The site will be monitored once every twelve months.
