Interim Comment

SAHRA DAU notes the submission of the HIA report however the BAR appendices must be submitted and the HIA report must be amended to include an assessment of the possible visual impacts of the proposed building on the nearest palaeo-anthropological site (ie Gladysvale) and any other site that forms part of the significance of the cradle of humankind.

In addition, a suitably qualified palaeontologist to undertake an assessment of the proposed area as the region has a Very High Palaeontological Sensitivity and according to the palaeosensitivity map.
