Proposal Description
Samancor is proposing to extend the footprint of the tailingsdam 6 (TSF6) with compartment B (17 ha). An application was lodged in 2020 but DWS requested that the liner system for the dam be amended. This is a re-submission of the 2020 application. What is new to this application is that a new return water dam (1.7 ha) will also be constructed.
