GRIEKWASTAD PROSPECTING RIGHT

The applicant has applied for a prospecting right to explore for iron ore and manganese using geological mapping and drilling as a technique to explore. The applicant intends to drill about 12 boreholes to a depth of 50 meters to explore for prospective minerals. The area of interest fall within the following farms: FARM GOUP NO 188 HAY RD (Portion Re), VAALWATER 123 HAY RD (Portion Re and 3), SPRINGFIELD NO 117 HAY RD (Portion Re and 1), GLENMIKLAN 615 HAY RD (Portion Re), MELK VLEI 115 HAY RD (Portion Re), PUNT NO 128 HAY RD (Portion Re and 1), PLAAS (FARM) NO 20 HAY RD (Portion Re), KIVIETSKLOOF 15 HAY RD (Portion Re, 1, 2 and 3) and KORT-KLOOFSFONTEIN 22 HAY RD (Portion Re, 1, 2 and 3)

The application area is located approximately 20 km southwest of Griekwastad town in the Northern Cape Province. The application site falls within the Siyancuma local municipality, Pixley Ka Seme District Municipality, Northern Cape Province.
