A Palaeontological Impact Assessment was requested for the proposed development of a Cemetery for Morgenzon by the Lekwa Local Municipality, Mpumalanga. The site is southwest of the town of Morgenzon, and southeast of Bethal, and is owned by the Lekwa Local Municipality (Farm Morgenzon 466).
