Proposed Belgrade Urban Housing Project

The proposed development will entail the following: • Construction of approximately 1946 units. The erf sizes will be for BNG Housing and 600m2 for the GAP residential units. This numbers will be finalised by the engineer during the EIA process. • A formal road network, comprising of 29.28 hectares is proposed. • Stormwater infrastructure including culverts and gullies, within the road reserves and within 32m of a watercourse. • Pipelines for transportation of water supply. • A formal waterborne sewage network is proposed. • The clearance of agricultural land (subsistence). • Erven will be kept aside for a community facility, a clinic, Education facilities, and worship land-uses.
