Oryx Wind Energy Facility

K2022578764 (SOUTH AFRICA) (Pty) Ltd is proposing the development of a Wind Energy Facility (WEF) and associated infrastructure on a site located approximately two kilometres west of the town of Danielskuil in the Northern Cape Province. The site is located within the Kgatelopele Local Municipality and Tsantsabane Local Municipality within the greater ZF Mgcawu District Municipality. The proposed facility will have a contracted capacity of up to 240MW and will be known as the Oryx WEF. The preferred grid connection for the project is still being determined and will form part of a separate application following confirmation from Eskom. The project site is proposed to accommodate the wind turbines and all associated infrastructure which is required for such a facility
