As the proposed development footprint is located in an area of very high palaeontological sensitivity, a field-based PIA is required to be conducted by a qualified palaeontologist.

SAHRA notes the recommendations of the HIA and awaits the recommended studies as part of the EA process. Further comments will be issued upon receipt of the requested PIA, pending studies and DEIA with associated appendices.
