Interim Comment

SAHRA notes the submission of the HIA. The SAHRA request that the HIA be revised to include the track logs of the area surveyed and that a field-based PIA be undertaken and submitted on the case as the study area is of very high palaeontological sensitivity. The assessment must be undertaken by a qualified palaeontologist and the report must comply with the 2012 Minimum Standards: Palaeontological Components of Heritage Impact Assessments.

Further comments will be issued upon receipt of the above and the comment issued must be included in the EA documents.
