Mukondeleli 1 Solar Grid Connection

The proposed Mukondeleli 1 Solar Grid Connection is located approximately 8km south of Secunda in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. The Mukondeleli 1 Solar PV Facility will provide additional renewable Energy to the HyShift Project (a registered Strategic Infrastructure Project (SIP)). An up to 132 kV Overhead Powerline (OHPL) is being proposed to evacuate power from the Solar Facility. The Mukondeleli 1 Solar Grid Connection will comprise of the following main components: 132 kV OHPL; Establishment of the offtaker portion of the substation; and Standard substation electrical equipment.
