BECS Environmental has been appointed by Vergenoeg Mining Company (Vergenoeg) to apply for a Basic Assessment and Environmental Authorisation in terms of Regulation 19 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, GN 982 (as amended), of the National Environmental Management Act, no 107 of 1998 (as amended) (NEMA). Vergenoeg mine is an existing operational mine and wishes to apply for a prospecting right for the prospecting of copper, cobalt, chrome, gold, phosphate, lead, platinum group metals (PGM), pyrite, zinc ore, silicon ore, nickel ore and kaolinite on RE and Portion 4 of the farm Kromdraai 209 JR and Portion 6 of the farm Rhenosterfontein 210 JR, Rust de Winter, City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality, Gauteng Province.
