Please be advised as follows: -
- Please complete Form I because work was illegally done;
- Pay R10 000 to rectify illegal work;
- Upload the original plan as well as all the previously approved plans;
- Upload photos of all elevations of the house as well as any outbuildings;
- Upload photos of the streetscape (photos across the road and neighbouring the address;
- Please complete your Form in detail, do not leave open spaces at historical and architectural significance.
Written responses/requests for review of the decision taken must be received via email to khanyi.zondi@amafainstitute.org.za within 30 days of the date of this letter or any decision contained herein will be considered final.
Extensions of 30 days may be requested; if additional information is needed or revised drawings, these documents must be submitted within 6 months of the date of this letter or the application will lapse and a new application and fee to be paid, is necessary.
If public participation is necessary, the applicant will be notified of the level of public participation necessary: For development and demolition applications the neighbors, ward councilor and heritage societies must be contacted. Owners and residents within 100m must be consulted for demolition applications. All documents submitted is retained for record purposes and interested and affected parties may apply to view the applications.
