Dear Applicant,

SAHRA received your application to undertake a test excavation, in terms of section 35 of the National Heritage Resources Act 25 of 1999, of suspected graves at an Eskom 132kV power line tower point 339, located on Portion 0 of ERF No 721 of the farm Madamefontein, Mokgalakwena Local Municipality of Limpopo Province. The suspected graves consist of a number of stone cairns, stone tools, and potsherds with a central GPS coordinates 23° 38' 56"S 28° 43' 52."E of the area along the approved Eskom power line that forms part of the Mokopane Integration Project.
