Tourneѐ Solar Park Grid Connection Basic Assessment

The proposed Tourneѐ Solar Park Grid Connection is located within the Lekwa Local Municipality (LLM) and Gert Sibande District Municipality (GSDM), in the Mpumalanga Province. Electricity generated from the two Tourneѐ Solar PV facilities (Authorised separately) will evacuate to the existing Eskom Alpha substation via the infrastructure associated with the Tourneѐ Solar Park Grid Connection. Tourneѐ Solar Park Grid Connection will compromise of the following main components:
- 132 kV Overhead Powerline (OHPL);
- 132 kV back-to-back substation; and
- Extension of the existing Eskom Alpha 765/400 kV Substation.
