Proposal Description
The North West University (NWU) intends to develop an area of 17.5 hectares of land situated in Potchefstroom, just north of the recently established Vyfhoek shopping centre to plant crops for research purposes. The proposed farm is located on Portion 616 of the farm Vyfhoek 428, Registration Division IQ, within the North West Province. At least 50 students will be trained each year, of which most will be upcoming farmers in order to fulfil the outcome of their curriculum in sustainability.
