Thank you for your application of temporary export of RFE glass beads for analysis. We have reviewed your application and kindly request that the following be submitted:

- A letter from Iziko Museum confirming the accessioning of the material and approving of the destructive analysis of the material, if the analysis is destructive;

- Heritage Western Cape's Section 35 permit for their acknowledgement of analysis;

- motivation for the analysis including methodology;

- the completion of the glass bead object IDs with the addition of photographs and the list of the beads that will be exported, number and excavation details (level, quadrant etc);

- the detailing of exportation (e.g. hand delivered by applicant/collaborator, couriered); and

- further details of Dr Jill Kinahan's affiliation, contact details and qualifications in relation to the glass bead analysis.
