Proposal Description
A WTP capable of treating 13 million litres of water per day (13 000 cubic metres per day) is proposed to be developed adjacent to Pit 3 within the existing Mining Right boundary. Mine affected water will be abstracted from Pit 3 and conveyed via pipeline to the WTP. The site was already investigated for heritage resources prior to the commencement of mining activities. The mine is now under care and maintenance.
