Proposal Description
The proposed expansion is from the current 8 000 pigs to 16 000 pigs – an increase of 8000. The expansion component will not be farrow to finish.
The total area of the current piggery including the proposed expansion section is 8.4Ha. The footprint of the proposed expansion is 3.5Ha. The new infrastructure will consist of:
• 1 x Living courters.
• 2 x Stores.
• 1 x Office with shower and toilet separate.
• 1 x Liquid feeding shed.
• 20 x Pig houses.
