The Proposed Grid, Overhead Lines and Associated Infrastructure on Portion 134 (A Portion Of Portion 2) of the Farm Middelvlei, Gauteng Province & Bar for The Middelvlei Solar Grid Line, near Randfontein, in Gauteng Province

The Applicant, Middelvlei Solar (Pty) Ltd, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of the developer Sigma Energy Capital (Pty) Ltd, is proposing the construction of a 132kV Powerline near the town of Randfontein in the Rand West City Local Municipality, Gauteng Province. The grid will be associated with the Middelvlei Solar - PV Solar Energy Facility. Construction of infrastructure is planned on the following farm portions: on the Remainder of the farm Middelvlei 255 IQ; the Remainder of portion 2 of the farm Middelvlei 255 IQ; Portion 63 of the farm Middelvlei 255 IQ and; part of Portion 96 of the farm Middelvlei 255 IQ.
