Grave Relocation Process for Glencore, Impunzi Colliery in the Mpumalanga Province

Glencore Impunzi Colliery has appointed Digby Wells Environmental (Digby Wells) to undertake a Grave relocation process (GRP) of 25 graves located on Portion 40 on the farm Kromfontein 30 IS. The mining activities will be extended towards the farm and the graves will be impacted upon by these mining activities. The next of kins who are associated with the graves have asked Glencore Impunzi Collery to relocate the graves to a location that is closer to where they currently stay as they struggle with frequently visiting the graves. The proposed project is located near Kriel in the Mpumalanga province.
