Envirostep (Pty) Ltd has applied for an Environmental Authorisation for proposed Mining activities for Coal, Pseudocoal, Torbanite/ Oil Shale on a 5ha of portion of portion 08 of the farm Driehoek 273 IS in the magisterial district of Ernelo, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. The application has been lodged in terms in terms of Section 23 of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), 2008 (Act No. 23 of 2008) to the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE), Mpumalanga Province (Mpumalanga Regional Department).
