Unauthorised additions and alterations on Portion 36 of (6) of Erf 1913 being at 25 Chamberlain Road, Scottsville, Pietermaritzburg 

Please be advised as follows: -

1. It was noticed that work did not stop at 25 Chamberlain Road after a Stop-Work-Order was issued to the client, please submit an affidavit why work was not stopped.

Written responses/requests for review of the decision taken must be received via email to [email protected] within 30 days of the date of this letter or any decision contained herein will be considered final.

Extensions of 30 days may be requested; if additional information is needed or revised drawings, these documents must be submitted within 6 months of the date of this letter or the application will lapse and a new application and fee to be paid, is necessary.

If public participation is necessary, the applicant will be notified of the level of public participation necessary: For development and demolition applications the neighbours, ward councillor and heritage societies must be contacted. Owners and residents within 100m must be consulted for demolition applications. All documents submitted is retained for record purposes and interested and affected parties may apply to view the applications.
