THE PROPOSED CULLINAN 180 MW SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAICS (PV) FACILITY (SOLAR ENERGY FACILITY – SEF) AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 12KM EAST OF CULLINAN TOWN WITHIN THE CITY OF TSHWANE METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY, GAUTENG PROVINCE.

Cullinan Energy (Pty) Ltd. plans to develop, construct and operate a Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Energy Facility (SEF) approximately 12km east of Cullinan town in the Gauteng Province. The Cullinan SEF and associated infrastructure is situated east of Cullinan in the Gauteng Province. The aforementioned development will be located on Portion 76 of the Farm Brandbach 471 JR, in the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality, Gauteng Province. The project area covers a surface area of approximately 170 ha. The capacity of the intended SEF is 180 MW and 153.3 MV. The affected property is situated within Ward 100 of the of City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. The anticipated lifespan of the SEF is 20 years, construction is anticipated to be between 8 and 12 months.
