Interim Comment
The SAHRA issued an Interim Comment dated 27/03/2024 requesting an assessment of impacts to heritage resources in terms of section 38(3). The comment still stands and SAHRA awaits the submission of the Heritage Impact Assessment report by a suitably qualified archaeologist.
Further comments will be issued upon receipt of the above.
The applicant is advised to extend the EA process in terms of section 19(1)b of the NEMA EIA regulations to comply with this comment.
