Proposal Description
The proposed activity includes the partial demolition of existing structures deemed structurally defective due to their age and construction materials. Replacement structures include similar architectural style of a new single storey building main house of approximately 350m2 primarily on existing footprint including both covered and uncovered decks and patios, and may exceed the existing footprint in some areas. No undisturbed indigenous vegetation will be affected by the development and only existing planted gardens cleared where necessary. Bulk power and water will be from existing municipal supply with additional water augmentation from rain water tanks. Effluent will be collected in a new conservancy tank for removal by municipal services, to be constructed in the existing driveway area. The proposed activity will adhere to all related National legislation, Building Regulations and Local Ndlambe town planning scheme and By-Laws.
