iSimangaliso Wetland Park - Basic Assessment application for the clearance of Msunduze Channel

The intention is to clear channel vegetation and dredge the lower reaches of the Umzinduze River to alleviate back-flooding (Figure 1). No rock will be removed. The Sahris palaeosensitivity map indicates that the area involved is coded green and requires a desk-top Palaeontological Impact Assessment (PIA).
