- Plans uploaded are insufficient, the client must upload a full set of coloured and numbered plans including elevations, a floor plan, window and door schedule and a site plan.
- Proof of accreditation/SACAP registration, of the architect or person, who drew the plans, is necessary.
- Clarify materials that is going to be used: for instance is the deck going to include a corrugated iron roof, or which materials will be used?
- What materials are going to be used for the front room?
- Clarify the proposal: methods and materials used for all alterations since the house is a Cape Dutch Revival Style house from the Union Period and there is a streetscape present. Mitigation measures must be included to ensure minimum intervention and reversibility.
