PROPOSED ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS ON REM OF PORTION 11 ERF 130 SEA VIEW BEING AT 107 CARDIFF ROAD, BELLAIR, DURBAN

We acknowledge receipt of your application for a permit to carry out work on the above property.  The KZN Amafa and Research Institute (The Institute) reviewed the application on the 3 April 2024.

Please be advised as follows: -

1. Illegal work has been identified and the owner/client must complete Form I;
2. Pay R10 000 for rectification of illegal work
3. The plans are numbered on Form A that was uploaded onto the SAHRIS database, but it is not on the drawings, please ensure that all plans are dated, signed and that there are drawing numbers on the plans.

Written responses/requests for review of the decision taken must be received via email to [email protected] within 30 days of the date of this letter or any decision contained herein will be considered final.

Extensions of 30 days may be requested; if additional information is needed or revised drawings, these documents must be submitted within 6 months of the date of this letter or the application will lapse and a new application and fee to be paid, is necessary.

If public participation is necessary, the applicant will be notified of the level of public participation necessary: For development and demolition applications the neighbours, ward councillor and heritage societies must be contacted. Owners and residents within 100m must be consulted for demolition applications. All documents submitted is retained for record purposes and interested and affected parties may apply to view the applications.
