Interim Comment
The SAHRA Development Applications Unit (DAU) notes the submission of the draft BAR and HIA report however, the study area is located in area of Very High palaeontological significance and a suitably qualified palaeontologist must be appointed to undertake a field based palaeontological impact assessment (PIA).
In addition, the submitted .kml file must be amended to map the water channel as it appears in the BAR and HIA depicting it as a line and polygon and not a point.
