Interim Comment
SAHRA acknowledges the effort DFFE has made to ensure that palaeontological resources are protected with regards to this development.
SAHRA refers to the outstanding desktop Palaeontological Assessment as requested in the Final Comment issued on the 18/09/2012. SAHRA requests that this desktop Palaeontological Assessment be conducted in order to understand what palaeontological resources may have been impacted by the proposed development and to provide further mitigation measures with regards to the management, conservation and protection of palaeontological resources within the development footprint.
Further comments will be issued upon receipt of this report.
