DISCUSSION    

Amongst other things, the following was discussed:   

• The committee noted that the Form J should be amended to include the consolidation of properties. 
• Concern was raised about the replacement structure which does not seem to take any design cues from the existing heritage properties, in particular the Dutch revival house which is proposed for demolition. 
• It was also noted that the process for consolidation and rezoning of these properties had not been completed. 

FURTHER REQUIREMENTS 

• The applicant was required to submit the amendment form J. 
• The committee resolved that an HIA with a VIA should be conducted to assess the impact of the proposed development.
