ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME REPORT

Waste management license, Atmospheric Emission License Application, Intergrated Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Authorisation, for Coal on farms Minnasvlakte 258 LQ, Smitspan 306 LQ, Massenberg 305 LQ, and Remainder of Hooikraal 315 LQ, located within the Local Municipality of Lephalale under Waterberg District Municipality, in Limpopo Province, with DMRE REF: LP 30/5/1/2/3/2/1 (184) MR, and Care & Maintenance for farm Hooikraal 315 LQ. LCC obtained a mining right in August 2011 from the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) and an environmental authorization in 2012 from Limpopo Economic Development Environmental and Tourism (LEDET) for the LCC coal mine, with references LP 30/5/1/2/2/184MR and 12/1/9-7/2-W11 respectively. The extent of the proposed Mining area is 4 360.6058 hectares (Ha).
