PROPOSED TOTAL DEMOLITION: PORTION 6 OF ERF 145, TONGAAT, ETHEKWINI

The KZN Amafa and Research Institute (The Institute) reviewed the application on the 22 MAY 2024.

Please be advised as follows: -

1. The architect did not include the DATE of the drawings on the plans, the plans cannot be authorised without a DATE;
2. The architect did not specify who did the drawings (It is known that Mr Frank Reitz is assisting you, but I won't know who T.T is referring to on the drawings, please write the name and surname of the architect who drew the plans, otherwise we cannot stamp and authorise them;
3. Please pay for the cost of work, and send proof of payment to [email protected] and upload proof of payment to the SAHRIS database. 

Written responses/requests for review of the decision taken must be received via email to [email protected] within 30 days of the date of this letter or any decision contained herein will be considered final.

Extensions of 30 days may be requested; if additional information is needed or revised drawings, these documents must be submitted within 6 months of the date of this letter or the application will lapse and a new application and fee to be paid, is necessary.

If public participation is necessary, the applicant will be notified of the level of public participation necessary: For development and demolition applications the neighbours, ward councillor and heritage societies must be contacted. Owners and residents within 100m must be consulted for demolition applications. All documents submitted is retained for record purposes and interested and affected parties may apply to view the applications.
