Zirco Langkuil Project

Zirco is currently in the process of preparing a Mining Right application in terms of Section 22 of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 (MPRDA) in respect of the Sabies area and the Langkuil areas (Langkuil Mining Right). An environmental authorisation for the Sabies area was received in conjunction with the environmental authorisation for the Zirco Kamiesberg Project during February 2016. Zirco is now in the process of applying for environmental authorisation for a further area immediately west of, and adjacent to the Zirco Kamiesberg Project, referred to as the “Langkuil Area”. The projects are located approximately 500 km north of Cape Town and approximately 35 km to the southwest of the town of Garies in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa.
