Proposal Description
The application area is located approximately 30 km east of Bothaville town in the Free State Province of South Africa. It covers an area of 18 627.1944 ha and extends over 51 farm portions.
The proposed prospecting programme will be completed within five (5) years. Based on information presented in the accompanying Prospecting Work Programme, it is anticipated that the following invasive and non-invasive activities will be undertaken during prospecting:
Invasive prospecting activities:
1. 6 diamond core drillholes
Non-invasive prospecting activities:
1. Data acquisition
2. Database, map generation and development of geological modelling
3. Field visits
4. Geophysical surveys
5. Re-visit key historical drillhole core, and re-logging and re-sampling
6. Logging and sampling of new drillholes
7. Code compliant resource estimation
8. Concept study
