The SAHRA Development Applications Unit requests that a similar letter and assessment, as provided above, be conducted by a palaeontologist for the proposed development as the footprint is located in an area of high palaeontological sensitivity.
The applicant is advised to extend the EA process in terms of section 19(1)b of the NEMA regulations in order to address this comment.
