Proposal Description
Eskom intends to upgrade the Aries-Kronos Powerline to include a 400kV line. Based on the information provided it is understood that the following would be required:
• Ground truth of the proposed pylon positions and development of a site-specific Environmental Management Programme (EMPr).
• Undertake a new water use licence application (WULA) for the relevant water use triggers associated with the proposed project.
• Appy for relevant heritage permits.
• Apply for relevant protected tree species permits.
