Please be advised as follows: -
- An affidavit needs to be completed to explain why the permit that was issued for the reconstruction of the listed building had lapsed; and now while needing new development on the same erf, is asking again for a permit to reconstruct the old listed house.
- The client must complete Form I and pay R10 000.
Written responses/requests for review of the decision taken must be received via email to [email protected] within 30 days of the date of this letter or any decision contained herein will be considered final.
Extensions of 30 days may be requested; if additional information is needed or revised drawings, these documents must be submitted within 6 months of the date of this letter or the application will lapse and a new application and fee to be paid, is necessary.
If public participation is necessary, the applicant will be notified of the level of public participation necessary: For development and demolition applications the neighbours, ward councillor and heritage societies must be contacted. Owners and residents within 100m must be consulted for demolition applications. All documents submitted is retained for record purposes and interested and affected parties may apply to view the applications.
